Biography: I am a licensed
aesthetician hoping to do corrective skin care in a hospital or in a
plastic surgeons office. I am a heath and fitness fanatic who’s very
passionate about my overall well being. I have a very creative soul and must
be artistically stimulated most of the time. I love to write, paint,
dance, act, and model. I am currently a writer for on online magazine
called Hidden Angels. Through my writing I hope to inspire women and
somehow shed light on their inner beauty, their gifts, and their
passions. I hope to show the world what sexy really means, that it is so
much more than a brilliant exterior. I am a very driven woman who will
not settle for less than accomplishing my goals and will always reach
toward my dreams. I believe that we all have dreams for a reason, they
give us hope, they keep us alive, and they make us better. There is no
dream that is impossible to obtain.
Fitness Model / Competition: I have always been very competitive.
I set personal goals and compete with myself to reach them. When my mind
says to quit, I push my self. I am constantly testing my drive and I
force myself to face what it is I fear and think that I can’t do. These
are the reasons that I find fitness so fascinating…your mind and body are
always at war! I am currently training with Scott White for The Woman’s
Figure Competition in Las Vegas. I have been known to compete in 5k runs.
Sports/ athletics
I love to run, hike, lift, cycle…you
name it! I also really love core and balance exercise such as Pilates or
yoga. I think the greatest tool ever invented in fitness is the
Swiss
ball. You can master balance, core fitness, and posture so beautifully
with such a simple tool. I love my abdominal workouts, it is truly my
favorite body part to challenge and exert. The
Swiss
ball offers a
great workout for my tummy!

What makes a great fitness model?
First and foremost a great
fitness model is what she preaches. She leads a clean and healthy
lifestyle, truly cares about what she puts into her body, and emanates
confidence through her interior and exterior success. She is a humble
role model for not only fitness but for one’s overall wellbeing and
understands the difference between extreme fitness and balance. She is
honest with herself and with others and takes great pride in the healthy
and active lifestyle that she has chosen.
What are the secrets to become a
fitness model? There are no
secrets, only answers found inside you. If you have the drive and most
importantly the passion….GO FOR IT! Eat well, keep active, get enough
sleep, drink lots of water, keep positive, and never give up. Prove to
yourself that you can accomplish whatever it is that you desire. Never be
afraid to ask questions or do your research. It is always better to be
educated than blind. The more knowledge that you obtain, the more
prepared and confident you will become and that much closer to your goal.
I also find that patience is also very important. Set realistic goals and
reach them one at a time. Don’t be to hard on yourself and stay focused.
What did you do to become a
model? I never gave up.
Despite people’s opinions (your to short, to skinny, becoming a model is
impossible, you should find something more realistic and stable) I
believed in myself and knew that if I didn’t try I would always regret and
wonder. I did my research, developed some great contacts that helped to
push me ahead, sent pictures out everywhere, and worked very hard, trained
very hard, and was and still am very persistent.
How do you stay beautiful?
Well, exterior is such a small part
of the puzzle. I do care about my physique, my skin, and my hair
but, I focus on the things that help me to grow as a person. I just make sure
that I am consistent with my routine. I do little girly things such as
deep conditioning treatments, manicures and pedicures, and facemasks.
But, what I’ve found that keeps your skin and hair healthy and your
muscles tight is drinking a lot of water, getting enough rest, and really
nurturing your body with a clean and healthy diet. But, your exterior
isn’t the only part of you that needs nurturing. Removing stress from
your life and becoming personally empowered through your own
accomplishments is, in my opinion, number one on the list of importance.
There is nothing sexier that a confident woman!
How do you stay fit, do you have a
personal trainer, chef, work out, what do you do?
I work out with a personal trainer
(Scott White) three times per week and I do thirty minutes of cardio three
times per week. My workout with Scott consists of constant movement for
about forty-five minutes. He puts me through an anaerobic as well as an
aerobic workout using weights, cardio equipment, and balancing
exercises. On my cardio days, I like to do interval workouts. However,
I really listen to my body…..if I’m not feeling it….I do a light run or
hike. I just make sure that my heart rate is up and my muscles are being
challenged for thirty minutes.
As far as diet, I am pretty strict
but balanced. I eat small meals five to six times per day. I am a huge
believer in EFA’s so, I eat a lot of salmon. I make sure that if I have
carbohydrates my main source comes from vegetables and my grains are whole
and never enriched or processed. If I crave red meat I have it, if I have
a sweet tooth I have a fresh piece of fruit. I also allow myself one
cheat day. I increase my calories by having more brown rice, a
whole-wheat pancake, oatmeal…basically anything I am craving. I try to
keep it as healthy as possible but, if chocolate or Italian food is
calling my name, I have it! I mean you have to live a little….you cant be
perfect.
How do you keep you skin healthy
and fresh looking? I use
very simple skin care and make sure that my face is always washed before I
go to bed. I use sun block most of the time. I feel that the sun is good
for you in moderation. I drink a ton of water, eat healthy, stay active
and do my best to get plenty of rest. When asleep, your body heals and
regenerates. Being the body’s largest organ, sleep is crucial to the
health of your skin.
What do you believe is good health
and fitness? Balance is the
key to good health and fitness. Going to extremes isn’t always good for
the body. Nurturing yourself emotionally, spiritually, mentally and
physically is important. Always MAKE time for yourself because without
helping you, you cant possibly be effective for anyone or anything else.
First Interest In Fitness / Weight
Lifting: I have always been
into health and fitness since as far back as I can remember. With my dad
being a holistic therapist specializing in autoimmune dysfunction and my
mother a brain injury therapist, I guess you can say I was very lucky and
was given a lot of knowledge early on. I always competed in track and
cross-country, played volleyball, was very active….I just wanted more. I
saw my body change with anaerobic exercise, had more energy, more strength,
and fell in love with the whole concept. I enjoy a wide variety of active
hobbies.
Goal Within The modeling/ Fitness
Industry: I would love to
be in Sports Illustrated, Victoria’s Secret, you name it…I love the camera
and have an open mind. I love all sorts of modeling but I’m not really
into the whole Playboy thing or showing pink thing. I do love artistic
modeling though….there are always exceptions. My goal right now is to
work as much as possible so that doors are consistently being opened.
Through open doors and different opportunities I hope to find more of an
idea of the direction I’d like to go.
Life Goal:
My life goal is to be remembered, to
teach, to be a good example. I want to be happy and fulfilled.
Dreams:
I dream of travel, I dream of acting, I
dream of modeling, I dream of giving to those less fortunate, I dream of
success, I dream of winning a fitness competition, I dream of singing, I
dream of writing articles and inviting people in with my words…I have lots
and lots of dreams! Most of all, I dream of flying. I know that it’s not
humanly possible to actually elevate off of the ground but hey, I can
dream cant I?

whites or a yam and egg whites, for lunch I do chicken or salmon with a
big salad and a little bit of brown rice, for dinner I usually crave
either red meat and a salad or fish and steamed veggies, if I need to feel
more full I add ½ of a yam or little bit of brown rice. For snacks I’ll
grab a handful of nuts and seeds or a cup of goat’s milk yogurt, or
sometimes an apple and almond butter.
Favorites
Favorite body part to work:
My stomach is my favorite
because I see results quickly. My legs are also one of my favorite body
parts to workout because they are my most challenging body part to
define. I have to work so hard on my legs and it seems to take forever to
get the results that I want. But, when I do I feel so good about my
accomplishment.
Ideal vacation:
I would love to be pampered in a
wellness spa on some tropical island having free range to miles of white
sand, salt water, and sweet smelling flowers. I don’t want to have to get
ready for anything or be pressured to go anywhere. I would be in my
swimsuit or a baseball hat and jeans the entire time. I would sleep in
late, be active and enjoy the weather and the sun all day, go back to my
hotel get a massage and be fed wonderful fresh seafood and vegetables,
then I would rent a whole bunch of movies or sit in the hot tub…. oh boy I
could go on and on. I need a vacation.
Least favorite food
I can’t handle oysters…they make me gag,
or Sea Bass, it’s a little too slimy.
Ideal Man:
My ideal man is a confident and
supportive man. He has his own independence and hobbies different from
mine. He trusts my free spirit and I trust him because he’s shown me that
I can. He is nurturing, thoughtful and loves to surprise me. He inspires
me because of the way he loves himself and others. He keeps his promises
and follows through. He is low maintenance and isn’t caught up in the
material world. He is comfortable in jeans and a baseball hat. He has a
contagious laugh and bright eyes. He isn’t into partying at a nightclub
and drinking. He is physically fit and loves the taste of healthy foods.
He loves God and will love me in 80years the way he loved me when we first
fell in love. He is honorable and he is my best friend.
Personality:
I am confident but I can be shy and
reserved. I am thoughtful and loving. I am intuitive and sensitive. I
am passionate and feisty. I have a lot to say and sometimes give my
opinion when it’s not appropriate. I am clumsy and often embarrass
myself. I love joking around and can sometimes be sarcastic. I need my
alone time and am very independent. I can be impatient and stubborn or I
can be very open-minded. I love to just hang out and enjoy simple things
in life and am not into the whole club scene. I love to dance though! I
can sit by myself for hours and write or listen to music. The first thing
I notice about a person is their eyes and what’s behind them.
Things I hate:
Back stabbers, inconsideration, animal
abuse, child abuse, drugs, the words “I can’t”, being sick, being injured,
lying, cheating, negativity, driving tickets and photo radar, traffic
school, bills
Things I love
Music, art, theater, movies, spoken word
lyrics, dark chocolate, peanut butter and jelly, Oreo cookie ice cream, my
relationship with my father, God, beautiful weather, energy, bandanas,
jeans, pedicures, pajamas
Favorite animals:
I love all animals, especially animals that most wouldn’t consider animals
such as the tarantula or killer whale. They are both so incredible
because they are so unpredictable. They are both so sensitive and
intelligent, much more than they are given credit for.
Favorite food:
Middle Eastern Food

Pretty Woman…. don’t ask
Favorite shoes:
flip-flops
Workout wear: I
like to wear baggy sweats and a sports top
