2 pounds ground beef, preferably grass-fed

¼ cup almond meal

¾ cup ground flax meal

2 whole eggs

1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste

1 red onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, very finely minced

1/3 cup fresh basil, finely chopped

1 tsp. dried marjoram

1 ½ tsp. black pepper, salt, to taste

 

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

Place mixture into a glass baking dish and form into a “loaf”.

4. Bake for about one hour or until desired doneness.
