- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 lb ground elk
- 1 spanish onion, diced
- 1 cup almond meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 3-4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 tbsp sea salt
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped or dried
- 1 teaspoon basil, chopped or dried, black pepper to taste
Preparation
Mix all ingredients by hand in a large mixing bowl.
Place meat mixture into a large glass baking pan and form into a loaf shape.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink in the middle.
Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes, cut in slices and serve.
