large basil leaves (enough to use 1/2 a leaf per shrimp)

slices of prosciutto (enough to use 1/4 a slice per shrimp)

1 pound wild caught medium sized shrimp, deviened and shelled

Olive oil cooking spray

toothpicks 

 

Preparation

Wrap thawed shrimp with 1/2 basil leaf then 1/4 slice of prosciutto.

Secure with a toothpick (make sure to soak toothpicks in water so not to burn and place them in sideways).

Spray shrimp with olive oil cooking spray and grill on gas grill until shrimp is pink and cooked through.
