– in a Fitness Competition!
After raising three kids (the youngest just entered his sophomore year in high school), I decided it was time to finally start taking care of me! In all the rush that comes with being Mom’s Taxi Service, Personal Tutor, Gourmet-on-a-Budget, Corporate Wife, and Realtor With a Smile, I realized about a year ago that I had gotten lost in the shuffle. I hired a personal trainer and began to eat better, and soon I started to look and feel great.
One night, I was up late doing some client paperwork, and the TV was on. There was a program on a cable station about the Mrs. Olympia competition. Now, I’d always thought those women with all the muscles were ugly and very masculine-looking . . . but as I heard the narration on this show, I turned to watch, and I was hooked! I didn’t want all those HUGE muscles, but I wanted to get fit enough to compete in a local fitness competition. I didn’t tell my husband, because I knew he would laugh at me . . . but I did tell my personal trainer, because I thought he would support me and help me reach my goal. I was infuriated when he told me I was too old and would never be able to get in good enough shape to compete, let alone win a fitness competition. That just made me all the more determined to do it!
I told my family . . . and they rallied behind me. My daughter even went online to do research for me, and found this e-book, Fitness Competition Secrets. I bought it right away, and now I’m well on my way to competing in my first competition! I am mailing off my registration this week to participate in the Miss Fitness Rocky Mountain competition this November. I might not win – but I sure will give it my best.
Thanks, Scott, for teaching me how to eat, which supplements to take, and what to expect so that my first contest will be an exciting, memorable challenge, not something that has me petrified. I can’t wait to go back and tell my EX-trainer that I competed. Imagine if I actually place . . . or win!!

Weekend in LA visiting my family, we went to universal studios and Disneyland, did tons of walking to rides which was great. Activity is always great to live a healthy lifestyle does it ever count for my workout or cardio. Absolutely not performed my workout that Saturday morning like clockwork. hit a gym in LA paid my one day membership fee and it was worth every penny because my workout is one of my biggest priority. Being responsible for my health is number 1 in my book. Then off to the rides the walking and spending the day with my family on all the rides.
