1/2 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed

2 tbsp almond slivers, toasted

Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste

1 tsp organic butter

 

Preparation

Toast the almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

Boil some water over high heat in a large saucepan, add the green beans to the boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes or until cooked but still a bit crisp.

Drain then toss with almond slivers, butter, sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
