With school starting back up it is very important to make your  kids stay healthy and energized for a day of learning. Many of us are working and find it hard to find the time to pack a daily meal, but with these tips we can plan ahead and make this stress free.

– Keep it simple! Kids normally don’t like something gourmet so keep it simple

– Make sure to find new ways to add protein to the lunch instead of a bunch of carbs. For example, add a cheese stick!

– Get your kids to help you! by giving them healthy options they are more likely to eat their lunch since that is what they picked out.

– Prepare meals a head of time! Separate fruit or yogurt into containers and freeze them giving your kids a chilly treat.

-Use dinner leftovers and keep them in a worm thermos to keep them warm.

-Add raw veggies with a dip
