5 lbs grass fed beef for roasting

chopped onions

fresh carrots

garlic cloves

rosemary/thyme sprigs

red wine  

beef stock (or water)


First, season the roast with sea salt and pepper and then sear the beef in a roasting pan (or your Dutch/French oven)

Then add chopped onions, carrots, garlic cloves, sprigs of rosemary/thyme, red wine and some beef stock (or water).

Place the pan in a 300 degree oven for 3.5 hours.
