1 kg outside grass fedĀ  round steak

1/2 red pepper, chopped

1 sweet onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

2-4 C tomatoes, canned, chopped or sauce

1tbs italian seasoning

2 cloves garlic, mincedĀ 

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 C coconut flour

 

Preparation

Heat fat of choice in a skillet over med/high heat. Dredge steaks in seasoned flour, and brown, place in crockpot.

Chop up all veggies and brown each in turn, dumping into crock pot when done.

Add tomatoes of choice (I did a combination of organic sauce, tinned chopped, and a couple of softish fresh ones) to crockpot, along with a splash of wine and season.

Cook on high 6 hrs or low 10 hrs.

I cooked mine overnight and had an AMAZING breakfast!

You may choose to leave the crock on high with the lid off to thicken the sauce.
